We will accept spring referrals for evaluation for Hanover County Public Schools gifted education through Tuesday, January 31.

Two Hanover County Public Schools teachers have received the 2022 R.E.B. Awards for Teaching Excellence and another two were finalists for the esteemed award, which recognizes them as outstanding teachers who demonstrate a sincere passion for teaching while also serving as mentors, coaches, and champions for their students.

HCPS is pleased to announce that all schools have achieved accreditation by the Virginia Department of Education based upon results during the 2021-22 school year.

The Community Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2022-23 R.E.B. Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership, which will result in a $30,000 grant for a Hanover County Public Schools principal.

Fall referrals for evaluation for Hanover County Public Schools Gifted Education will be accepted between now and October 15.

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation has named Hanover County Public Schools as a “Best Community for Music Education” for the 10th year in a row!
